Adastra becomes a long-term strategic partner of Škoda Auto University. Its experts will be involved in teaching data management, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Adastra is now a long-term strategic partner of Škoda Auto University. The company will collaborate on educating students in the fields of data management, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI). This strategic partnership between Adastra and the university builds upon their longstanding collaboration with Škoda Auto. “We have been operating in the automotive industry since 2008 and over the years, we have established ourselves as one of the major players in the fields of data analytics, planning, and AI. Considering that academic programs at the university are increasingly moving in this direction, we see a perfect intersection between the university environment and business,” says David Kaláb, Vice President of Data Management Practice at Adastra.

Among other responsibilities, Adastra specialists will oversee the specialized instruction of a semester-long course that integrates data management, data science, and AI. Upon completion, students should be capable of designing and implementing comprehensive interconnected project solutions in these areas. The partnership should also encompass collaboration on the development of a manufacturing-logistics laboratory and involvement in research projects.

Furthermore, Škoda Auto University has inaugurated the new Educational Technical Center at Na Hejdovce in Mladá Boleslav, which will connect science, education, research, development, and innovation through cutting-edge technologies. “Škoda Auto University recognizes the need to educate future graduates in data handling. Given that Adastra specializes in data platforms and comprehensive digitalization services for businesses, the synergy between both parties makes perfect sense,” adds David Kaláb.
