The health insurance company Dôvera adopted the Qlik Sense solution in cooperation with Adastra

Dôvera opted for a modern approach to Business Intelligence and together with Adastra and our partner Qlik, they adopted self-service BI with the Qlik Sense tool.

What was the problem

At a time when Big Data initiatives became reality in our region, the health insurance company Dôvera as an innovations leader decided to make an efficient investment into a prospective and modern Business Intelligence solution. In cooperation with Adastra, Dôvera adopted the Qlik Sense solution. The benefit of this choice consisted in the fact that Dôvera had previously used Qlick View, which enabled a smooth transition to a more recent technology covering both past and future needs. Adastra as an experienced partner in BI and Qlik Sense, provided the client with support in technology adoption from recommending hardware parameters and the number of licenses to installation, server configuration and application development to meet Dôvera’s needs.

What was the solution

  • Adastra installed the Qlik Sense 3.0 platform.
  • We supplied both the server configuration and the Qlik Sense itself, the link with the LDAP client to enable access to selected users.
  • We provided recommendations concerning the network elements in Dôvera’s topology to keep key parameters to ensure the solution’s functionality.
  • Adastra developed applications using client data and provided data models and visualizations to meet Dôvera’s specific needs.
  • At the same time, Adastra enabled know-how transfer to key Dôvera users.

How the project ended

We provide Dôvera with recommendations and consulting services primarily in relation to data modeling in Qlik and ensure platform updates to the current versions.

The server has been deployed in a busy operation without any recorded failures insofar. Adastra as a Qlik partner works as a bridge between the client and supplier support.
